nathan, lulu, and i were trying to help santa. we’d gotten into his sleigh and rode with him into the alternate world where he lived. he lived in this alternate world so no one could find him. this world was similar to the north pole, only there wasn’t much snow and many people and animals living there. santa lived in a huge, old tree in the center of the town. it was so tall i couldn’t see the top of it. santa’s sleigh was powered by a giant yellow balloon. that’s how it could fly. when we crossed over into santa’s world, the balloon popped. we were stuck there and all the kids in the real world wouldn’t get their christmas presents. also, something terrible was on its way.
i was drawing a spider web to throw on the evil things that were coming to get us. lulu kept saying, “don’t worry, everything will be alright.” but this wasn’t true. we were in severe danger. Nathan got irritated and said, “i hate when parents tell their kids that when it’s not true!”
i drew the outside lines of the spider web very carefully, then scribbled in lines between the connect them. someone found snow to throw on the sleigh. it was magical snow and made the sleigh fly again. i finished the spider web and when i held up the paper, it became real. it had some holes where i didn’t color it well enough, but it didn’t matter because we were getting into the sleigh (which was now like a car) and going home. we were going to escape the evil without having to fight it. a triumphant theme song began playing as we flew off into the air. the last line was, “and we all live 20,000 yeeeeeeaaaaaaars!...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!”
